Jack Kelley
Deputy General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer
John “Jack” Kelly serves as the Deputy General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at IBX, where he leads the compliance function. He provides support on a variety of legal matters, including intellectual property, equity and debt financings, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), corporate governance, and other strategic projects. Additionally, he serves as acting general counsel for Quantum Space and PTX.
Before joining IBX, Kelly led teams and held roles of increasing responsibility and scope at several aerospace and defense companies, including Supernal (Hyundai Motor Group’s aerospace company), Aerion Supersonic, and General Electric Aviation. Prior to moving in-house, Kelley was a litigation and technical transactions attorney at the global law firm Covington and Burlington LLP, clerked on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, and began his career at the IP firm Finnegan Henderson LLP. Kelly has his engineering degree from the University of Michigan and his law degree from the George Washington University Law School.
