Chris Mirick

General Counsel

Chris Mirick serves as General Counsel at IBX, where he leads legal strategy and compliance across the firm and its portfolio of deep technology companies.

Chris brings nearly three decades of experience advising organizations on complex transactions, governance, and strategic growth. His work has focused on helping companies navigate periods of transformation, build durable structures, and position for long-term value creation across dynamic and highly regulated industries.

Prior to joining IBX, Chris served as Chief Legal Officer at Source Global, a public benefit corporation focused on sustainable water solutions. He previously held senior legal roles at True North Venture Partners and RWA Wealth Partners, where he also served as Interim CEO. Earlier in his career, Chris was a partner at international law firms, advising on corporate transactions and restructurings across sectors including energy, technology, healthcare, and infrastructure. He has a deep commitment to working to improve society, and was recognized for his pro-bono legal efforts through the David Abraham Grossman Fund for Social Justice Award at Harvard Law School.

Chris holds a B.A. in economics and history from Amherst College and a J.D. from Harvard Law School. Outside of work, he enjoys hiking, backpacking, and brewing cider and gluten-free beer.
